Heimdal builds machines that permanently capture and store atmospheric CO2. Congress has passed legislation (IRA) guaranteeing a tax credit for each tonne removed via Direct Air Capture until 2044. We are building technology that profitably captures CO2 with this tax credit, right here in the United States.
Heimdal offers competitive pricing for its DAC facilities, making carbon capture accessible for various sectors. Detailed pricing plans will be available closer to the launch date in Summer 2024.
Founded by Marcus Lima and Erik Millar, Heimdal's team is dedicated to building the largest DAC facility in America, Project Bantam, with a capacity to capture over 5,000 tons of CO2 per year. Our first pilot facility in Hawaii has already demonstrated success by capturing almost 40 tons of CO2 annually using renewable energy.
